Not a review as such, just lots of pics of our hotel. We had a swim up room which was absolutely gorgeous, out of you patio door into the pool that served 8 rooms.

This was a very long driveway to get to the gates going out of the hotel.





No particular order to these I'm afraid, but it gives you an idea of the Hotel.

I have to be honest & say the only thing I liked about Egypt was the climate Although the room & swim up were lovely.

It does look like it I think I was standing in front of a post - OR I was wearing knee high white socks....hmmm don't remember owning any

they call this a rain shower, a walk in - it was huge.


This was the tea/coffee Voddie/Bacardi fridge cupboard


Probably too dark to see, but it was beautiful at night.



Walk in wardrobe - it was great girls



Our own personal sunloungers that you didn't have to throw towels on at 6am



These type of things were left on our bed every day.

Interestingly - all the cleaners for the rooms were men.....hmmm.

Is that the manager, well there no bog roll

Can't see me going on hols to Egypt-ever.If I was into history,then possibly but as I am not I can find much more appealing places to stay in Europe with far less potential hazards.

Hazards WS?

There's been a bomb blast in Sharm el Shiekh... but there's also been one on the Police Station opposite the Mirlos Tordos.

Egypt has good beaches and crystal clear water, warm sunshine in January, better exchange rate than the Euro... it's got a lot going for it. Have a read of my reviews mate You might be surprised

Not talking about civil unrest Mark.Talking about lack of hygiene,stomach upsets,pestering beggars.Granted I have not been there but our granddaughter is cabin crew on TCA and this is her most frequent route (to Sharm).She is not keen and has told us her stories.Nuff said.An unwanted step into the unknown for me.

Wow Debs looks fantastic, I am a bit like WS as far as Egypt is concerned and I have never really fancied it to be honest.

Maybe I am missing out !

PS Did you ever feel the need to use the phone when you were on the throne ?

Was it a bog standard network charge Debs from the phone?

Debs..as you know I'm off to the land of the pyramids very soon - well six weeks! I appreciated your pics - and looks gorgeous. I shall be taking lots of picture when I go....not before anti-baccing my hands several hundred times a day!! I have enough anti-bac gel to serve a small hospital...in fact I think I may be the cleanest, most germ free person in Egypt!! I plan to start my anti bac regime on the plane...ha ha I'll be the bonkers lady offering anti bac gel to all of the passengers, rather like the perfume woman in department stores! Anti - bac sir? Oh no..don't touch the bottle, I shall dispense the gel without you touching me or me touching you!! I may get arrested for erratic behaviour!

Mark...I'm glad you loved Egypt..I'm off to peruse your review now! It gives me hope that I too shall enjoy the land of the pyramids!
