| Located just off International Drive and handy for *everything* is the Enclave Suites, the Americans call them Condos (Condominiums) but they are just apartments really. Here they have an assortment of Studios, 1 Bed and 2 Bed apartments, all with kitchenettes, some with private sunbathing areas. We had a Studio and it was easily adequate for 2 people. The bathroom had a bath with shower, toilet and basin in a vanity unit. There were 3 pools, 2 outside ones and an indoor one, which was open 24/7 with free pool towels. The hot tub by the pool was really hot! American ones tend to be true hot tubs i've found. They also had a little wedding area set aside as the edge of the resort backed down onto a lake, - no swimming though as there were alligators in it! All in all a tidy little place to stay, Orlando holidays are more to do with using your apartment as a base as you'll be going out to do things pretty much every day. Other features: Free wi-fi Free Breakfast Free parking Safe charges just a dollar (£0.60) a day. Big screen TV with more channels than you could want to watch. Kitchenette had a fridge, cooker rings, dishwasher, microwave, grill. A washing machine and tumble dryer were located at the end of each hallway, cost $2.50 each.

| I couldn't really say the price Mick as it was part of the package deal we got with BA, it's part timeshare so the advertised price in resort was ridiculous. Probably better off looking on something like Booking.com for the dates you want as the price would also vary during the different seasons. |

| Mark, what's the address for this hotel (guess there's more than 1 Enclave suites dotted around I-Drive) so I can have a look. We normally stay in a Hampton Inn on Universal Blvd when we go, looks pretty similar. HH.
Edit: Cancel that, looks like there's only one, Carrier Drive? Across the lake from Wet'N'Wild? |
