The Chancellor has been criticised for putting “beer before aviation” by confirming that air tax will rise again next month.
The planned increase in Air Passenger Duty (APD), announced last year, means that a family of four will be forced to hand up to £376 to the Government every time it flies from a British airport.
In his Budget statement, George Osborne said he was “bringing business to our shores with competitive taxes", adding "I want to send a message to anyone who wants to invest here, to create jobs - Britain is open for business.”

My thoughts on this................
I was laughing at this bit In his Budget statement, George Osborne said he was “bringing business to our shores with competitive taxes", adding "I want to send a message to anyone who wants to invest here, to create jobs - Britain is open for business.”
So by putting tax up on holidays this will bring more business to our shores, HAHAHAHA what is this guy on, its too expensive now and people cannot afford it, why would this bring more businesses wanting to set up in this country, if people cant afford to pay the extra tax then there will be no need for holiday companies in this country..
