Visited Cala D'or for the first time, usually go to Palma Nova or Santa Ponsa.
My wife and I think this is a lovely resort for families and couples. We stayed in the Cala Ferrera Hotel
for ten days from the 10th of June.

Enjoyed the fishing off the rocks and some enjoyable nights out at the Eden Paradise.
Plenty of shops to browse around, lots of play areas for the kids, a nice place to bring our grandchildren
and safe bathing in the beautiful coves.

This site has given me a lot of enjoyment so I thought a little contribution is in order, not great pics but still

Brilliant and well done, Ive tried many a time to catch fish when we used to stay at the Hawaii in palma Nova and the ones that come to my hook just nibble the bread of the hook lol. Have a rep

Daryn, I used a size 10 hook (always barbless) with a lump of bread pressed around the hook, used limpets in the past but bread is far better.
Forgot to say I had mullet among others but my wife takes photos when the fish turns sideways.

Bread was all we used lol, I used to wet it hook it and mould it round the hook so they couldnt see it, the little buggers still nibbled it off the hook hahaha, there was dozens of them eating around the hook lol

Only been to Majorca twice - both times to Cala D'Or, when the kids were small.

Keep meaning to go back and have a look in the Pollensa region . . .
