We ate in Janet & John’s restaurant, overlooking Cala Bona harbour/marina. There was 4 of us.
We had a selection of Tapa’s for starters, which consisted of Chirizo, meatballs, garlic mushrooms, wholetail prawns in batter, buffalo chicken wings, & mussels.
No complaints, although the prawns and chicken wings were more like nibbles that you would get in the UK. We were ordering one dish each so that an assortment of tastes could be tried.
The selection of meals were Chicken stroganoff:
Pork medallions in wine based sauce (had a Spanish name though that I can’t remember);
Sea Bass fillet;
And a 12 oz ‘plank’ rump steak:
The meals were served promptly and were hot. The Sea bass I found to be a little lacking in something, relying on the flavour of the fish rather than the spring onion and ginger sauce to bring out the flavour. It was enjoyable though.
The pork medallions were a little tough, but flavourful.
The bill came to €65, we didn’t have desserts.
Some of our party ate there on a separate occasion, different meal choices, no complaints.
Have to recommended this restaurant as a good all rounder.
