We decided to give out smallest bedroom a lick of paint the other day. Well we got it emptied, painted & papered & only had the carpet to lay......this was at 4.30 then the phone rung it was the agent asking if we would be free for a viewing at 6pm
We had an hour & a half to get the carpet done & all the furniture back in the room including putting the 3 doors back on the wardrobe .......we did it...just.
It went from this
to this
Its amazing how much bigger the room looks

Well done you both, the transformation was very good. Amazing what you can achieve, when the pressure is on so to speak.

It was done very cheaply really, overall cost for everything was £77 or thereabouts Big difference to the room for that.

Yeah it's amazing how much brighter the room looks for something that, in all honesty, is so easy to do I suppose we're all guilty of it.

Now why didn't you say DB
Yes Mark, we didn't think it was THAT bad until we decorated it It took us 2 days in total, to paint, paper & lay carpet. Curtains were a bargain at £9.99 too. Didn't have to be expensive.....its not for us

Well one of the couple gave feedback that the kitchen needed updating, I thought it was ok. So I asked Don if we should buy new modern cupboard doors.....best not print his reply
No Daryn, we're not doing anything else, someone will come along & like it as it is
I love the house, just want to move it down the coast

The chances of fitting a new kitchen that is to the new owners taste is minimal. Anyone buying a new/(used?) house should have half an eye on having to have a new kitchen fitted in time. They just need to look for functionality at the point of moving.

I have a similar thing when I sold my bar in CDS. When I get back from work I will post it.
