Went there in the day a few years ago BC, when there had been a Celtic convention on in SP, met a couple from the same village as San. An absolute sun trap. Makes you drink a lot more I suppose.

Found this that I posted in 2010.

Went to Santa Ponsa by 104 bus only 1euro 45 each, to see a couple of friends, went to Music Square Shenanigans Bar, Brian & Wendy from Barnsley lovely couple, had been a Celtic Supporters Convention all week, went for a meal at a seafront restaurant, can't remember the name, then rounded off the evening at The Palmira Bar, very oldy worldy inside & very nice, opposite the squawking green parrots in the trees then taxi back to Magalluf 8 euros 50.

very nice couple handed keys back 2 year ago as brian not the best and landlord trying to rip them off, the bloke that had the hogan stand has got there bar now ,as he had landlord problems too

Sorry to hear that Roy, do you keep in contact with them? Obviously the couple we met were staying in SP, told us to go to that Bar, & as I said they were a lovely couple.

yeah. we heard that Ray had relocated Hogans to the Squaare, so popped in to see him at easter. He is chuffed to bits with the new place, he has smartened it up some and now the place is shrowded as usual with his football shirts and flags. He said he would never go back to the old place, even if they asked him to. And the old Hogans is now a mini market, the landlords wife decided she wanted it, so they kicked Ray out after 17 years. So needless to say, all Rays friends and customers will be boycotting it, after the way they treated him

Another rep Ive not seen the square before, like I said I have only been maybe three or four times, about 12/13 years ago I remember going there in a taxi, we had a walk along to the marina with my daughter in her pushchair, she slept all the way lol. We have gone in every direction and I thought we had seen it all but obviously not lol. Please any more photos would be great, its also a great way for you document you time there.

I've got plenty more photos, if I can get them off my old laptop and in answer to what Ray's new place is called, he has kept the name " the Hogans Stand " , but he has a brand new shiny sign and Micheal the Irish lad who used to sing in the small hours has now got a stage and will prob start up when the entertainment in the Square has finished.
