The town of Cal D’Or lies on the South Eastern side of the Island, and has an air of exclusivity about it.
Perhaps the long transfer time from the airport has something to do with it, as easier to reach resorts are easily found.
There is more than one beach, and the beaches are made up of small coves, although the main one is deep enough for several hundred people to fit on. It is narrow and sandy and safe for families. The sides of the cove leading out to sea add to the air of exclusivity of the resort.
The night life is more of a nice meal in a restaurant with family and friends culture, rather than open all hours night clubs.
One of the more prettier resorts of the Island in my opinion.
