Mrs DB stayed S/C at the George Apartments with Manos/Thomas Cook
The Apartments has a swimming pool
The buildings are just two storey high.
They are based around a courtyard which is accessed through a small archway from the swimming pool area.
The rooms are fairly large with two single beds and the matress which was described as firm (This is classified as a large room others are standard)
The room had a balcony which overlooked the courtyard and one could sit out in the evening without being too hot.
The apartment had a toilet and shower
Each room had an outer lobby which gave separate access to top and bottom apartments which could be locked by both the tenants and each were given a key to the outer door.
Air condition was available at 6.50 euros a day and was needed as temperatures reached over 90. The room had a safe and was for hire at 1.50 euros per day. Although the apartment was S/C no kettle or toaster was provided but Mrs DB was told by the rep they were for hire, (IMO penny pinching, so Mrs DB went without). However, there was a small pan available to boil water.
There was a fridge and kitchen area right next to the loo
The rooms were only cleaned Tuesdays and Fridays when towels were also changed (Mrs DB asked what about the loos, the rep boldly suggested keeping plastic bags to empty your own waste paper down in the town).
Also only one toilet roll was provided after which one had to provide your own.
Finally despite the pickup to go home not being until 12:20pm, one had to be out of the room by 9:00am.
Although we are fairly accustom to Greek accommodation, I think given the last two aspects above, Mrs DB and I would pick somewhere else next time we visit Stoupa.
