| We stayed at the h10 COSTA ADEJE PALACE in tenerife for four nights on a hb basis, booked as package through thomas cook, the check in was very quick but we did get lost and ended up back at reception where a young gentleman then showed us to our room. The room was very spacious light and airy and well appointed plenty of room for clothes and a nice big comfy kingsize bed,an easy chair and table plus a sideboard with a nice lamp there was a fridge as well and a tv also a nice table and chairs on the balcony. Our bathroom was nicely appointed with a bath bidet sink and complimentary shower gels soaps toothbrushes and shampoos. The dining room was very large with plenty tables we never had a problem getting a table inside but outside was very popular ,the waiters came and took your drinks order then it was off to choose and what a selection there was two kinds of soup a full salad bar a pasta station then a grill serving steaks and fish also stir frys.Numerous kinds of bread and rolls also freshly baked bread, then it was on to the sweet counter with mousses ice creams fresh fruit pastries and finally the cheese board with crackers and bread sticks. Breakfast one of my favourite meals as soon as you sat down the waitress came and asked if you would like tea or coffee i always have coffee and was given a jug of coffee and a jug of hot milk, fruit juice grapefruit and tomato juices carrot also champagne was there every day if you wanted it. Four or five different cereals fresh fruit ,hams cheeses yoghurts then at the grill bar the eggs were cooked in front of you or omellettes and pancakes french toast, toasties, on the buffet counter you had grilled tomatoes ,bacon ,beans ,scrambled egg, boiled eggs and frankfurter sausages.Again many kinds of bread pastries ,doughnuts and croissants. The main reception was huge and very impressive with reception on one side many sofas and a bar on the other side where there was a singer on a night,it was between 3.50 for a pint or you could get a slightly smaller one for 2.90 a bottle of house wine was 8.20 euro on the next floor down ther was a entertainment bar we saw a stevie wonder tribute act ,it was quite enjoyable. The pool areas were spectacular with lush gardens and palm trees and waterfalls numerous amounts of sunbeds and parasols to which we never had a problem getting one at 9.45 after breakfast ,also many seatng areas there was a minigolf course ,tennis courts and a big chess set. There wasnt much around outside the hotel a small complex over the road that served food and drinks and a supermarket,we had drinks at 2.20 euro for a nice pint of dorada. If you went out the gate at the back of the hotel and walked along the promenade past all the lovely hotels for about 25 minutes you came to playa fanabe where there was numerous amounts of bars and shops its a really pretty walk you could virtually get a pint in every bar for a euro and good offers on food like 2cheese ham toasties a bowl of chips and two halfs of beer for 6 euro.We mainly went to the same bar every day as it overlooked the sea and you got a pint in a iced glass for a euro and could watch the world go by sitting in the sun. We had a great holiday and would not hesitate to go back either for a short break or a long stay this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in and the food was great as well.Ihave took photos but may need daryns assistance in putting these on.

| Great review Graham. The Fanábe (Costa Adeje) area of PDA is so totally different to the main strip where Veronicas is now. |
