We all wanted to go to the SLC at Yarmouth, with most of us looking forward to seeing the Penguin's for some reason. Not to p.p.p.p.p.pick one up I might add.
Brett had 3 vouchers, from Kellogg's, giving us a BOGOF deal on the admission prices. It would normally cost £15.60 each, with Tyler as he is under 3 getting in for free. So for 6 adults & Tyler plus a £3 Guidebook for him, the price was £49.80, a saving of £46.80. They stamped your hand, so if you wanted to go back later that day, you could get back in no problem. So many things to describe, I will let the photo's & video's do most of the talking. Oh no, more humans disturbing my Sunday afternoon, perhaps they can't see me hiding.
Small Jellyfish, glad they are in the tank.
Again I wouldn't want to put my hands in here as they are related to Piranha's, even though they are Vegetarians.
Plenty of Flat Fish, here is a short video of them in their tank.
Then outside to see the Penguins. Brett, Tyler & Katie watching them enjoy themselves swimming round their pool.
Another short video of the Penguins, you can see them through the glass domes under water as well.
There were 8 in total, all with a coloured coded band, so you knew who was who. Here is Katie reading their life story, even a bin got in on the act.
There were some funny looking critters in there as well.
Here are a couple of mean looking Crocodiles, or where they Alligators?
Here is a Beautiful Mermaid out of her tank.
Not sure if the fish is doing an impression of Katie, or the other way round.
Finding Nemo was going on in this tank.
Love this photo of my two boys with the Starfish.
This is the big tank that you can walk round & under, with sharks, a big Turtle & numerous other fish, the bubbles are courtesy of Tyler.
Told you so.
Thought of Daryn with this photo.
Photo's are taken as you enter the Centre, & are available when you have walked round. We bought a deal for £20, which included 2 large photo's, 2 wallet one's & a keyring, not too bad as a momento. We were in there for at least an hour & well worth a visit we all thought. I would strongly recommend a visit to a SLC, if you are near one or on holiday. But to keep costs down, I would say look for vouchers like Brett did, as it is quite expensive I feel, but well worth it.

Cheers Del. You know how long it takes to put these threads together, I learnt from Beeech.
