Rep for you DB . . . As far as I remember, the pizzeria was Pizzeria Riviera? The kids weren't very impressed . . . TBH, we didn't eat up that side of the village much . . . we preferred the harbour end, watching the boat activity and the kids jumping off the pier . . . Pefko is the restaurant overlooking the harbour - best Kelftiko ever! and directly below was Akrogialli - our overall favourite . . . the other 2 favourites were Yesterday and today - I bought the cook book and as well as yummy food, they rent out the top floor apartment, which has spectacular views - Voula herself showed me around, but too small for us and no pool . . . but for a couple . . . Oh, and the Butchers, but haven't been since it has relocated post 'the fire'. As we were there for 3 out of 4 years, we tended to stick to those which worked for us . . . ie: everyone could find something they liked. We went to Ag Nik, but found most of the food tended to be stew-like in composition . . . I remember sitting at the resto with the blue chairs, watching the forest fires, watching the helicopters come down to the bay to get water and wondering if we'ld have to cut short our holiday As I said - didn't do the Stoupa to Ag Nik walk . . I imagined it would be a dirt track - not a proper path. Did you bring walking boots? Thanks for that, but we are probably driving the others bonkers . . .

Looks lovely and unspoilt, maybe a two day break would be ok there for me. _________________

| No you just need trainers Boss, it's about 45/50 minute walk with only one bar/resto near Ag Nik this is your favourite Akrogialli the first time we sat near the main road end which had a bright light and hundreds of midge type things fell out the tree and on to the tables around the food was excellent, what would you like to order we went back and picked a better table next time and we thought the food was better there a double souvlakia skewer almost too much The views of the other Pefko's, made it a difficult choice

Yes - that was Akrogialli . . . it was very cheap . . . loved their Mani salad to start, (baby potatoes, red onion, olives, orange in oil and oregano . . . Fab! But HUGE! The kids all loved the meat there . . . so that kept me happy too . . plus they had no cover charge and water came without asking . . . and 1L house wine €5 . . . or half litre for €3 . . . you can't beat it. PLUS - there was always a great buzz there and plenty of Greeks eating there too . . . and greek music playing . . . not MUSAK . . .

No roof when I was there . . . Just the sunshade things . . . ah yes . . . awnings . . Had to find out the names of the favourites, as I like to look up the websites when I come home .. . Also . . . we spend the day discussing where we are going to go for lunch . . and dinner, so we all need to be on the same page
