Thanks for the warm welcome - so nice to see all the hello's! A bit about me - I met my partner in Magaluff a long time ago whilst on a girly holiday. We loved Majorca and always wanted to go back. Circumstances meant we couldn't have a holiday for a long time - but this year we're returning. We originally planned to go to Santa Ponsa with our almost teenage daughter and her friend but after speaking to some friends who have visited palma nova every year for the past 18yrs we decided to go with her advice and opted for Palma Nova.

We're going in June - and as this will be our first proper holiday in 9 years are really looking forward to it. A little concerned with the new ash cloud but keeping our fingers crossed. Can't wait to trample some old ground and spend a bit of time in nostalgia! We had our first date in Robinson Crusoes on the beach and from what I gather it's still there! I love Majorca - and have spent ages on Trip Advisor looking at the forums - which is where I found this little gem of a website! Hoping this holiday will inspire us to keep saving and keep returning.

What a great story, yes Robinson Crusoe's is still there and Ive never had a drink there lol, this year I musy have one there for the hell of it, nostalgia a wonderful thing, my first ever holiday abroad was in magaluf 1986 and Ive been hooked ever since, infact its home from home and I always go to the old haunts we visited alll them years ago.I like you have many fond memories.
Glad you like the forum and Im sure you will make lots of friends on here. Dont know if you saw it but for the last couple of years we have
had a meet up in Magaluf, this year its gonna be in Palma Nova on the 2nd October so if you can make it you will be made very welcome.
Any help you need just ask the members and the help will be there. Dont forget to take your camera and give us a review please.

I'm so glad Robinson Crusoe's is still there - it will be quite surreal going back there! And as for Yosef...a little bit of crazy is not a bad thing!
