Well here is Part 2 of our Silk Purse Project, the 3 bedrooms, hall, stairs & landing.

Jamie's bedroom was probably in the worst state, so that needed doing first, as the previous owners had done God knows what to the blinds. Here are the before & after photo's of his room, forgive the chair/mess on the bed.









We then moved on to Katie's room, now don't forget that she is a 20 year old young lady, with not quite a flair yet for putting things/hanging things away.









Next on the agenda was our bedroom, again sorry about the mess on & around the bed.









And finally the hall, stairs & landing.    Thank God I hear you cry.













I hope that you have enjoyed viewing the transformation of our house & I didn't bore you too much with the photo's.

Cheers Del. We are so pleased, so we will be doing the rest of the house next year, as we are concentrating on getting the garden into shape.

Always skim and paint, makes all the work everytime .

It is like a different house Daryn, albeit upstairs ATM.

What a transformation, Mick! As you said,it looks like a different house.  Hard work but so worth it.

I love looking at transformations of houses, especially when you see the before & after photo's. Like on Homes Under The Hammer, but I get annoyed when they have gone back & it isn't either completed or even started.
