Just a few photos of Candelaria. I must actually explore the town at some stage. We just parked at the seafront and walked up the pedestrianised street to the church. Apologies for some of the photos, the lens must have been smudged.

Inside the Basillica. Didn't really feel comfortable taking photos here. There were a few families gazing reverentially at the altar. They didn't seem to be praying as such, just had a mystified look on their faces.

siesta time on a Sunday plus its not really a tourist town. The odd shop that was open was mostly selling religious stuff.
