Hi all which water park is best for my 2 children aged 9 and 12? We will be staying in Cal a dor so dont thinnk there is one near buy,and if we have to travel is there a bus or will I need to hire a car, or would it be Just as cheap to get a taxi?

Hi Minty welcome to the forum, some of the guys should be on a bit later to give you an answer

Their is one in Arenal just looked up the travel time, looks to be about an hours drive.

Apart from that I haven't a clue TBH as Ive never stayed over in Cala Dor so not going to pretend to be an expert. You may get transport in with the price if you buy tickets at one of the excursion shops. Hopefully someone might be able to give you better information.

Hi Minty, the cost of hiring a car over 3 days would probably not be much more than a round trip in a taxi over to Aqualand (which will be the best park btw), and then it gives you another couple of days to see some of the other stuff over that side of the island, like maybe the caves of Drach?

A 3 day hire from a local firm will be around €100 - €140 depending on the size of car you go for.
