Eating me and mrs moocher

We walked in and got a great table on the patio and was very impressed with the staff

we was given the menu's and found a very vast and interesting menu ranging from pizza's to steak and home made paellas

We ordered a large coke and a bottle of water which was swiftly delivered along with 2 complimentary amuse bouch of crabmeat with some added bits[not sure what they were tho ]
I ordered garlic mushrooms off the tapas menu has my starter and mrs moocher ordered ham and melon [her fave ] my mushrooms was a very big starter and i struggled to eat them all and was very garlicky and was very nice but mushrooms was gritty which did somewhat ruin the dish .
Mrs m's melon and ham was a large plate of very fine jammon and in her words some of the best she had tasted
My main was roast suckling pig which consisted of 2 pieces of very crisp pork [1 which had very little meat on ] The meat actually tasted very nice ,the dish was served with pots and roasted veg .
Mrs m had a fillet steak with peppercorn sauce her dish came with chips and rice and mrs m informs me it was very nice

Sweets was all home made and vast in numbers I chose banoffee cafe and mrs m chose raspberry cheesecake both which was very nice .we rounded of with a tea and a coffee

the bill came to a whopping €90 with tip GULP

There was a small down side to this meal was a spanish guy went by with his dog and he preceded to let it have a great big s#@# right on the pavement in front of our table and he left it for us to keep looking at .Not the restaurants fault though

€90's for a meal for 2 ,bloody hell have you won the lotto or what. Just bumped me heed on the floor hehehe, enjoy.

It all looks very nice.

That resto bill was megabucks moocher.2 of you can have the 4 courses, choice of 4 dishes for each course, including wine,mineral water and digestif in the best and classiest resto in Pto Pollensa (Stay) for 70 euros before tip.And no dog shit within 50 metres.

Have to agree WS we ate in Fabrica 23 in Palma and it only cost us about 70 euros including drinks

....I'm beginning to think it's the 2 bottles of wine that bump up my bill everywhere.....

What beeech 2 bottles just for lil ole U? Or were you sharing? Don't be shy.I have been known to have a bottle of white and a bottle of red throughout a long drawn-out evening dinner especially on holiday when I am (usually) in high spirits.

Moocher you should have taken the bucket and shovel you carry around when you are working with Donkey

We ate in here last week - sorry no photos - but were pretty impressed. We had a few drinks, a spag bol, a suckling pig & my boy had the bbq ribs / ice cream / drink from the kids menu & it was only around €50. Maybe they've cut their prices since Moocher was in but the food was pretty good still. Recommended from us.
