Others comments.......
Me and my husband have had our little shop in Magaluf near Punta Ballena since the year 2000, and this has been the worst season for us. We used to have people waiting for us to open to get there drinks and baguettes to take to the beach. Now we hardly have any custom till about 3 in the afternoon. There are too many young people and not the families we used to get. All inclusive doesn´t help us. Many of my customers that have been coming for years to Magaluf don´t want all inclusive. The quality is inferior. Something has got to be done now, before its to late!
THIS BIT I SAID ALONG TIME AGO
This has been known by residents for a long time , that they were trying to bring the resort down so low that prices for bars and property will go for nothing to these big chains can step in and redevelop then it's all inclusive heaven which is the original cause of the resorts decline in the first place
I think ive proved my point...turn the place into a ghetto dont get rid of the drug dealers and mugging prostitutes or unscrupulous bar owners.Decent people will sell up and move out cheaply. The big boys have already moved inThey can then move in and do what they like buying everything up cheaply..
