I have a mate that did the Ironman contest in Alcudia earlier this year and also Great Omond Street Hosiptal are arranging a 300 km 3 day cycling event.

Now I dont know about you guys but did anyone else know about it?

Surely it is great advertising for the island and would attract more visitors throughout the year?

I didnt know when it was or anything about it. They do have massive cycling events every year though, me and Debbie sttod and watched them riding through Palma Nova one year, the roads were shut down and the place was packed out

Infact I would say UK forums seem to do more publicity for the Island than the Malllorcans do
