Well what happened for me to find this out was that me & Jan had originally booked for just one case between us.
Since booking, the
and my D have both decided to come, so have booked them two extra flights separately.
So now have 3 bookings for 4 flights.
We decided that we'd take an extra case rather than faff about, so went on easyjet to book it, easy enough, so I thought, but when I printed out the boarding passes afterwards I spotted that D now had two cases on her booking and Jan & I still only had one.
Previously, with EJ, adding an extra case to a single passenger didn't give you the extra 20kg, it was still 20kg, you just had two bags/cases to spread it out over.
So I phoned EJ to get them to swop the case over from D's booking to my booking, for the nice man from Delhi to initially claim that they can't do that, and that I'd have to book another case - for £30 - on my booking.
Idiot.
After a few choice names being called....
I asked for his manager, two minutes later after being on hold he came back and said that his manager had authorised the swop.
But whilst waiting I'd spotted the change and that D had 40kg's and two cases.
So there wasn't really a need to swop.
But the man from Delhi couldn't quite understand that, claiming D couldn't check in my case as she hadn't packed it
and that she have to get two cases to the airport herself.
He just could't grasp that we was leaving from the same house, in the same car, and travelling together.
All sorted now anyway
