i dont know if this has allready been posted ! but when you book direct with solmelia on their website you get the option for free transfers to and from the airport, iv'e just booked for sept a few weeks ago for six people and took the offer for the transfers, you link into another site and put your flight details in and they give you a voucher to print off and take to the desk at palma airport, ive checked out some prices for next year at a few sol hotels and it seems the offer is on again.

Nice one Tjay. I'd heard of the offer but also have spotted a couple of tales of people not being picked up on the return leg, causing a last minute taxi rush.
Don't want to be doom and gloom about it, on paper it's a good offer.
The chap I spoke to stayed in Sol Cala Blanca and the reception told him to get a taxi and get a receipt, sol melia will refund it.

Not heard about that, MMMMMMMmm shuttle buses and coaches brings back memories of waiting at the airport for 2 hours.

well i,ll give it a trial run this year and see what happens, i hope the do turn up for the return leg mark because my mates will end up staying till they do come lol.

well thats what i thought, austerity measures and all that

I suppose the belt and braces thing would be to book the return leg 30 mins or so early, so if it doesn't turn up / turns up late, you've got a chance to redeem the situation.

I don't know if he succeeded with the offer beeech.
When i booked, for last July's stay at Mirlos/tordos, I also got the free transfer voucher. But later on, I checked and saw that the same dates were available at a slightly lower cost, and i could also use my Melia card points to bring the cost down a little bit more. So I re-booked for the same dates, and then cancelled the first booking - for free - as you're aware that you can do.
But didn't realise that rebooking had in fact invalidated my offer of free transfer which was only valid with the first booking

No, they're definitely return trip, I've got two vouchers.
