| I saw that they had T-Bone steaks on offer on a board outside, so Mrs DB and I gave them a try. looking at their menu once seated, i noticed the price of T-Bones were dearer than the board, the waiter did confirm the outside price, so I was happy. I had the T-Bone and Mrs DB had pork in a peppered sauce I started on the fillet side of the steak which was fine and Mrs DB said her's was delicious and the waitress asked if everything was ok. I of course said yes. However, on starting on the non fillet side it was tough and chewy. The house red was very nice and at the end of the meal the waitress again asked was everything ok, well I didn't want another steak, so i gave them the benefit of the doubt. Therefore, no complaint from me as I didn't push it and we finished with coffees total bill 42 euro's The surrounding and ambiance were nice but like Mark, we picked a table near the road which had a slight breeze blowing but we said we would give them another try at the end of the holiday... report on that to come |

| Nice pick del. A more regular shaped T bone than we had.
I thought T bone was Sirloin one side and Rump the other side? Fillet being the other end of Rib Eye. |

| The small bit is the tenderlion but know as the fillet, T-bones are near the end of the tenderloin cut and get smaller in size |

| Well it was our last night and I fancied giving the T-Bone another try. Mrs DB selected the mix grill, "would madam like it from the board or the menu" asked the waiter. "Well what is the difference?" said Mrs DB, "Well the grill offer on the board, is smaller and cost less", said the waiter. "That will be fine from the board then".
Well my T_Bone came and the fillet side was smaller than before but this time I was going to try the non fillet side first. Well it was marginally better than before but nobody came to ask me what it was like. Mrs DB really enjoyed her mixed grill. We had a bottle of the house red and two coffees, total bill 39 euros.
Summing up a nice atmosphere, T-Bones steaks not good enough for me to try them again but Mrs DB happy with hers |

| I was told by the waiter at Restaurante Fantastic, to always go one up with steak, ie for medium ask for well done etc. _________________ Mick
