I suppose, in many ways, it is similar to Palma Nova ......... but it "feels" quite different. I can't really explain it! |

Is it because it's full of Irish . . we send plane loads of people there every year . . it's the main destination for the tour operators . . A bit like Maga/PN to the Brits . . says she, who has never been to any of the above mentioned . . |

| TB - I have to say I didn't hear as many Irish voices as I was expecting.
Brits were in the majority (a good mix of English, Welsh & Scottish) but there were a fair few Germans & Dutch too, with a good sprinkling of other Europeans (Eastern & Western).

| Rep from me too, Jen, great pics, brings back a lot of memories, first time we visited SP on a 2 week hol I wasn't too good, second day I lost my wedding ring in the sea at Little Beach (I was losing weight until I bought some antibiotics ), believe it or not, I found the ring the day before we departed, couldn't believe my eyes as I surfaced with it hoping it wasn't another shell. |

| Thanks lads, it still amazes us after all these years, must be over ten. Full story? I'd had a throat infection for a while and my wife was pestering me about a holiday so I gave in, the first night as we sat at the table having a meal in a restaurant just after the Burger King on the short incline to the roundabout, I managed a sliver of a lettuce, couldn't eat any more, definitely shouldn't have been there. Next day we had a walk and found Little Beach, I was about 15/20yds out to the right and about 5yds away from the side rocks, I felt the ring slip, I searched on the sea bed but all I was seeing was some shells and those sycamore like pods. As yer do, we got friendly with a lovely couple, the gentleman searched with me over a couple of days, I even done a stupid thing by bringing with me a couple of plastic gallon containers thinking if I filled them with water, they would keep me down longer, what a dope the containers just floated. Anyway, we gave up, the day before going home I was feeling great, think the antibiotics cost about £3, we walked along to Little Beach, my wife lazed on the flat rock as it enters the open sea, I dived in and had a good swim, I don't know why but I ended up around where I lost the ring and thought "go under" I saw a glint and grabbed at it, when I surfaced and realised it was the ring I shouted to my wife , she couldn't hear me and as I neared her, I shouted again "I've found my ring!" she smiled, shook her head thinking I was joking, we were both gobsmacked and so were our kids who we had been speaking on the phone to. Would love to hear from the couple who we got friendly with, yer never know, they could read this. |

| Brilliant. If it happens again, call for Mick, we'll sink him to the bottom and stand on his back, that should hold him down for a bit longer |

| you were dead lucky Dan, a lady lost hers in the sea (I think it was Mexico) , she was distressed and everyone helped search for it but nobody found it. I looked for it for days after but no luck
