I managed to post some photos on another section, so why can't I post them on a different one ? I did the same as with the others, ie took them from my photobucket account but when I go back to this site my post has disappeared. what am I doing wrong?

I don't personally use photobucket Majorcagirl, but I am sure that someone like Mark, Yozef or Daryn, will be along to help you out when they read your plight.

Do a test post in this section MG and we'll try and see what's happened.

Are you using the img code from photobucket?

it seems to work if I'm replying to a post but not if its a new post.strange

just tried again. right. I go to photobucket pick photo click on img code. back to this site click right and up comes my picture. Now the problem is when I go back to photobucket to pick another picture I go back to this site and its as though I'm starting again as the first photo has disappeared!!!!! It seems as though I can only post photos when I'm replying to a post.
seems a bit garbled, but I'm sure someone can see what I mean.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH I know what this might be, our site has a built in security system so anyone that has just joined wont be able to place a link to anything for the first week, its so admin can check that the person is not spamming or sending link to what could be harmful to other members. The img code is a link to another site basically. Im surprised its allowing you to post any at all TBH. At the end of the first week let us know if you are still experiencing problems and Ill look at your setting for you.

thank you, I must have an honest face I'l save the other photos until I've been on here for 7 days.

meant to say the photo I was able to post was the swimming pool of our hotel in north cyprus.
