7 of moocher clan eating

We arrived at 8.30p and had no problem getting a table this place has one of the best views of the bay and across to palma you can get.we have been eating here for a few years and they do a set menu at €11per person that is starter ,mains,sweets and drink.
we ordered a set menu for 5 and a set menur for 2 [so we had different dishes ] they use to let you mix and match the dishes but when we asked we was told no we dont allow that any more , strange after all the years they let you do it then all of a sudden they stop .
we got a plate of prawn crackers and 2 dips soon has we sat down the dips are sweet chilli and 1 was a chilli dip that should have a health warning its so hot but strangely addictive .for starters we got chinese salad 3 big plates to share and we all got a crisp fresh spring roll and a spare rib the salad was nice and the sring roll was of top quality i a told [ i dont care for them ] the ribs were very large and had plenty of meat on but were quite tough and the sauce was non existent.
we was a little disturbed when our starters were brought the waitress just dumed them on 1 side of the table and the salad was even placed down on a clothe napkin so the salad started sliding off the plate ,this was to be a common factor all through out the meal.
for the mains we got
sweet and sour chicken
chicken and mushrooom
fire prawns
sweet and sour pork
beef in black bean
sizzling beef
chicken and almonds
3 large plates of mixed rice
the service was swift and all the dishes arrived within seconds and was all fresh and hot but again sevice was let down by the same waitress who insisted on putting the plates of food anywhere even this time on the camera that was on the table .
i found the food nearly all tasted the same and the pork was very tough the sizzling beef arrived has described sizzling so much so it marked some of our groups clothes
we had 3 bottles of wine and a bottle of water all in the price the wine was very nice .
for puds we ordered 3 ice creams 1 coffee and 3 creme caramels after around 10 mins we was informed they only had 1 creme caramel
we swapped the creme caramels for coffee's and the got 5 coffee's and 1 creme caramel and 1 ice cream that was tipped over when brought to the table by the same waitress she just walked off lol.
the bill was around €80 wih the iva added
i must stress we have had some very good meals here and this one was not one of them but we will still use the place because in 10 years of using it they are allowed 1 off day
