The Sol House Trinidad has gone through a major revamp for 2015 so we decided to give it a go especially for the price of £87 for three nights room only for the two of us.
After walking into the reception area and seeing how lovely it all was we couldn't wait to see if the rooms had been upgraded as well as the outside of the hotel, we were not disappointed.
We hadn't even started unpacking and I was clicking away lol.
Our room for the next 3 nights
The beds were lovely and comfy and as you can see the pillows were huge and soft great start
New large tv on the wall had a good selection of English TV stations such as discovery, BBC, ITV, etc all the local uk channels, no deposit required for remote control
The fridge was free to use another plus
The safety deposit box again free to use, just add your own 4 digit number and away you go.
You can also see the aircon above the wardrobe again free and lovely and cool.
New large showers these were great and the hotel provided free shower gel.
Pool / Bar / Reception Area
Very trendy gives this hotel a whole new lease of life we were both well impressed.
These beds came at a cost, we briefly looked at the price of them 40 odd euros plus a bottle of fizz, errrrrrr no thanks lol but all the other sunbeds again are free of charge.
This upper deck area was for over 18s only so we just made the age thing lol
The little stage area to the right had a DJ playing chill out music so no head banging going on it was nice although I used the free wifi to listen to absolute 70s radio instead on my phone lol
The whole area had a lovely vibe to it but it was off season in October and you could get get a sunbed at any time of the day, I dont think I would book here for July / August time as I think it would fill up really quickly and really they are targeting the young, I like to chillax to much lol

but a pint of lager was €3.50 and they sold frozen cocktails for €5/€6
Would I stay there again, yes I would off season, it was lovely and relaxing, clean and the staff were great. I prefer room only these days as I like to go out eating and drinking so for us it was more than enough for what we needed.
Everything is free, safety deposit box, fridge, TV and wifi through out the hotel and it works fast, fast enough for me to stream music and look on the internet anyway.
