Well we haven't been to the Mirlos this year (June 10 last time) but we generally find the food there good. This is using the AI gauge of 'good' of course. No contest when you compare a steak at F & C's (opposite Orion bar)

Just a pic to show the chef cooking chicken breasts and fish fillets hot and fresh in front of you. Always something to eat IMO. That doesn't mean you *have* to eat there all the time. We go out and eat too. I just pay for all inc (mostly) so that it's on tap and there's no dithering about what/where/when to eat.

I should have added that last year, we asked for a peppercorn sauce to go with the chicken breasts, - the chef went out the back and appeared a few mins later with a jug of it for us
