The Pueblo Marinero Apartments are nicely place next to the Rubicon Marina and only 10 minutes walk to the popular Dorado beach and 20 minutes to town. The marina itself has supermarkets and restaurants with lovely views
Once inside the complex there is a sunbathing area also a nice swimming pool with free sunbeds
The Swimming pool, the entertainments guy is very popular during the day
There didn't seem to be any problem getting a sunbed
There is a lockable gate beyond the pool which allows guests out onto the promenade, Also there is a bar to the left and a WIFI area
There are three rows of two tier apartments on the complex, the back row are double bed rooms and one gets the top and botton tiers if booked
The complex is from this year adults only but the swings and playthings are still visable between the apartment blocks, a lot of the guests that had been going for several years were disappointed with that decision
Also there are a number of refurbished rooms and I believe all will eventually be done, some people have complained that the remaining rooms have looked tired but we didnt feel they were too bad
We always pick higher floors from past experiences abroad but no noise problems here
And you can see the town and restaurants from this walkway
Or the marina
Inside the place is clean
We only use the place for making tea and breakfast and of course the fridge is well used by us
The lounge or dining area has a comfortable settee
a new slim TV but British channels were sparse, BBC world news, CNN and a film channel in English with Spanish sub titles
We were lucky and had a balcony overlooking the marina
The Bedroom had nice comfortable beds
The apartment appears to have air con grills in the room but it was not on, however, we didn't need it in December
Good wardrobe space for clothes
The Bathroom could be it's achille's heel, wth a solid screen making it awkward to reach the bath taps and gosh the bath tape water was slow to run
However, the apartment has a seperate shower cubicle next to it and we used the shower unit hose to help fill the bath quicker lol
Also we had a notice not to put loo paper down the loo and use baskets proved. As Greek lovers we are use to that but hadn't noticed it before in the Canaries
Night time everywhere was well lit, including the promenade to town
Finally a room safe was 18 euro's a week, I didn't have a tape measure but feel it was big enough to hold an Ipad
