| Friends who've been have tried to describe the height of the buildings to me - and I could never visualise them.
OMG - scary !
I don't mean to sound morbid - but how high were the twin towers ? - if you look at last pic of orange clock in comparison .....

The twin Towers were quite a bit higher than the Empire State Building (in pic 3), in fact if you look in the background of that pic you can see the current state of the new Freedom Tower, it is already the 2nd biggest building in New york and it's no where near finished. |

| Still in the endless repeats of Friends.Must say she is visually attractive (to me anyway) but there must be a weakness somewhere as she can't keep a man.Who wants one anyway? |

To be honest I was not so impressed by Central Park, I was really looking forward to jogging around it and I did so on the morning of my 40th birthday. I knew there would be a fair few runners but no-one said good morning, it seemed a little sterile and man made. I covered every corner of the park too, in fact I prefered the top part, it was more rugged and less crowded, but also supposed to be more dangerous when dark. The view from the park back to Midtown was great. I wouldn't swap my regular runs around the 2nd highest point in Leicestershire for Central Park, but it was an experience. It probably seems nicer in the summer. |
