Well we had our picnic & decided to head to the Pleasure Beach Fun Fair. You can get day wristbands at different prices, which would work out cheaper, so well worth a purchase if you are on holiday. The first thing we came to was the Water Chute, so me, Katie & Jamie decided to go on it, the others chickened out. It worked out at £9 for the 3 of us, so on we got. They told me to sit at the back of the other 2 as I would be drier, yeah right. Becky trying to be cajoled by Katie & Jamie to go on, "No chance", she said, "I don't want to get my hair wet".
The ride consists of 3 chute drops, small, medium & a large at the end. This is us heading to the medium one, which TBH we didn't get that wet.
Now we are heading to the smallest one, where we got fairly soaked, which was a shock.
Then we went down the bigger one, & we got very, very wet.
This was how we all finished up.
We then walked into the Main Pleasure Beach site, it was quite busy, as you can see from these photo's.
This time Brett decided to go on the Wooden Roller Coaster, which is featured in the Madness video (about 2.14 in), House of Fun, from over 30 years ago. Again it was £3 each, which is not too bad value we thought.
Here we all are going down the main drop.
Tyler was enjoying his Lewis Hamilton moment.
Katie & Jamie could not persuade any of us to go on this the Sky Drop with them.
The look on Jamie's face is priceless, as he said he left his stomach at the top then the bottom.
We then walked along the Promenade to Joyland, a smaller Children's Fun Fair.
So Tyler was in his element, going on the Snail ride with his Dad.
It also has plenty of indoor amusements, handy in the British Summer. Tyler on the 2p machine, which he loves.
Look Grandad how much I have won/lost.
Apart from these 2 main Fun Fairs, Gt. Yarmouth has all the usual seaside amusements, such as Bingo, Boat & Sea Fishing Trips, Slot Machines, Ten Pin Bowling, Crazy Golf etc. I would strongly recommend a holiday here , as there is a Racecourse, Stock Car Racing & Greyhound Racing, as well to keep all ages amused. We all had a great day out, with the weather being a real bonus.

Cheers Del. They have a similar ride at Joyland that spins round, went on in once when I was a kid, never again.
