Canary Islands, Fuerteventura, Caleta de Fuste

Subject: Canary Islands, Fuerteventura, Caleta de Fuste Fri 11 Nov 2011 - 22:41

Hello, this post is a question rather than a review, so apologies if I have put it ibn the wrong place. We are going to caleta de Fuste next August and are just wondering what it is like? We have 3 kids 12,10 and 3 and would like to know what kind of stuff there is for them to do ( apart from usual beach and water sports). Also, what is the nightlife like ( again with kids in mind ) and can anybody recommend any good places to eat. I know this is a Majorca forum so don't worry if no one has any answers.

CdF is a typical Spanish seaside resort is the short story. Plenty to see and do.

@4thforum Anything to add about Caleta De Fuste mate? We're going in 5 weeks, kids are 14 & 10. Any do's/don'ts you can think of?

We never went in the end HH. Friends of ours have an apartment there and even they said, there isn't an awful lot to do on the island. Its great if you just want to lounge around the beach or pool. Corelajo is nice though ( thats not how you spell it but its near enough). You can get the ferry from there to Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. It takes about 45 minutes as far as I can remember ( we went lanza to Fuerteventura 2 years ago on a day trip). Sorry I cant be of more help. Dermo.

Ah ok mate, no problem. Got a car for the week we're there so should find something to keep the kids amused.
