I think I now know why so few people do reports on Mirihi.

It is so so lovely it tempts you to keep it your own special secret ready for your nex visit.
It is really that special and here is why>

The island itself is small and stunning and surrounded by one of the best reefs I have ever seen both for fish and coral. The water villas are not the biggest or most opulent you will ever find but they are comfortable, well equiped, well serviced and not too many of them. The staff are just wonderful and I defy you to find nicer or more genuine people and they will do anything for you.
And then I found something I never expected:

This tiny island has a 'world class' chef. He is called Tim and he and his sous chef Fernando are simply spectacular. I truly am not exagerating when I say they could run gourmet tours to this island as it is that good. Eat your heart out Ramsay, Roux et al, go to Mirihi and enjoy the food of your life!
In summary it is a wonderful special place IF youl like peace, diving/snorkelling, food an staff you would be pleased to call friends. If I had to be grouchy the only things that some people could possibly not like is the quiet in evenings, the strange beach furniture and the daytime activities if you are not a snorkeller or diver.

If anyone wants further info let me know and if you decide to go then I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Oh, by the way, if you want to start you marriage the way you want it to continue then honeymoon here.

Sounds amazing ,not sure if it would be for me ,a bit too quiet but I would love to visit these places for a day, so jealous of you mate you have done some wonderful tours.

Hi Mike have you got any photos, we nearly went to Lilley beach before it was renovated, if you read the review on the Hukurra Club I gave it a mention I think. However, we had one last trip to which I still have to do a review. It was the best holiday ever for us at Vilamendhoo and we could see Lilley Beach through binoculars

If you could show us the villas and the sands etc, so others who may wish to go can see it, that would help them

That does look the best one of the three Mike, I love the shallow beach head that usually collects at the North end of the Islands

One day we saw nobody except fish and a couple of fruit bats roosting!
