Like Yozef said though, over here can still go on a banquet night and have a meal each for a tenner, take the leftovers back in a doggy bag we do and do it again next night lol
We like Indian but aren't too adventurous, Rogan for Jan, Biriyani for me, I like all the side dishes better than the main dishes anyway Sag aloo for instance.

we like to have a chicken tikka starter,and a mushroom bargee starter,then popadoms witl all the dips.
by then we are usually stuffed,especially after a good drink
