02/07/11 after work photo in my street about 5am. This photo was taken with my phone, Im pretty impressed with the quality of this 5mp phone

A few more taken from my phone 02/07/11 early hours of the morning heading home from my shift. I feel really lucky to live on the coast in South Shields

This one worked out brilliant, I had the camera sitting on the dash and used the timer so there was no hand shake, a car came along just as it took the picture and I ended up with the unusual red stripe

that last moon shot is a cracker mate,i was thinking of taking my camera to work with on nights as i'm seeing some lovely sunsets/sunrises.
don't know how the security people at the gas power station i'm on will feel about someone climbing their flare stacks and taking photo's at the crack of dawn though

if i'm not online for a few days you will no that i've been banged up as i terrorist suspect

I love night shots and still trying to get them right, Im going to buy one of them cheap little tripods Mark showed me, they are really cheap and will do the job great, set the timer so the camera doesnt move at all.

i have one daryn,a little tripod with rigid legs that screws into the bottom of the camera,not used it yet though.my mate as a tidy one with bendy legs that you can wrap around things like a fence or a post etc,think it's called a gorilla clamp?be dead handy when out walking

this was taken on a fuji 2m camera just hand held and is just over 1/2 meg in size

They are amazing them ones, it just goes to show you that the best things in life are free lol. Y I was looking at them bendy ones ,gorilla tripod or something like that its called.

Yes I assume you can keep the camera horizontal with that type?
