| Hi everyone thanks so much for the warm welcome, and putting together this marvellous forum. I've been browsing as a guest for a few days, the reviews on here are so refreshing and real, and am now looking forward to viewing the open topics. I'm a hardworking wife, mum, gran and bookie. I've been holidaying in Palma Nova and Magaluf since I was 19 (20 something years ago), first as a carefree teenager, then with the long suffering other half and eventually as a family. This summer the mid fortnight in July at Hawaii Torrenova, counting the sleeps. Oct 2008 I spent a week at La Singala, Port de Pollenca with my parents, both of whom are keen walkers and am hooked, on PP and rural Mallorca not the walking lol. The following autumn we rented a lovely flat on the Pine Walk and this October its the Sis Pins. Lucky Langtoun Lass, 2 weeks of Maga madness with the family, then a week of exploring in the hire car, good food, wine and chilling before the bitter Scottish winter. Theres not many islands that offer all the options. thanks again for the friendly welcome.

| Hi Langtoun Lass
Gosh I was in PP in the Oct 2008 I might have passed you on the Pine Walk, I also talked to a Scottish guy fishing on the end of the jetty, who told me he came out regularly it wasn't your husband was it.
Nice to hear from you, we are so friendly on here we are like a family. To some outsiders we appear mad but we do have fun |

| Delboy, no it wasn't my OH he's never been to PP, was there just with my parents as he goes fishing hols alone. He has tried dipping his rod in Palma Nova numerous times and never caught anything to speak of , however my daughter 12 caught a cracker of a bream a few years ago. I met lots of Scots in PP in 2008 most travelled with globespan, there weren't so many october past though. |

| The weather wasn't good in that October lots of heavy showers. Your hubby is fishing in the wrong part of Spain have a look at the fishing in Spain review in Alternative holidays if you have spotted it yet. |

| He tells me Scotlands the best for game fishing, which is his thing, the rod went in the water in Palma Nova just because it was there lol I will certainly check out that post, could send him to the mainland for a week n I'll go to PP.The weather October there was gorgeous sometimes a bit too hot for my mum and dad. I will get some pics up, have just managed to load avatar, without the help of a teenager. |

| Sandra's Mum & Dad stay in Ballingry. Her brother stays in Burntisland & one of her best mates lives in Cardenden. From a Sassenach, do you like the use of stays instead of lives LL? _________________ Mick
