Been along time since we were there. infact we stayed at Torremolinos and the weather was terrible so we travelled to different areas along the coast. Fuengirola was one of them places, it lashed down and I remember going through narrow streets full of restaurants and they all had canopies up in between them to keep you dry. We had a really good night there, a meal and lots of drinks.

That would be Fish Alley as they call it Daryn. Still going strong & a bit like Arroyo more bars/resto's are Spanish owned/run now.

I remember when our Kate was still in a pushchair, Im sure we jumped on a train from torrimolinos to Fuengirola

That is the Renfe one mate, virtually all overground until you get to Fuengirola where the station is underground.

Thats right the station was underground crikey that was about 18 and a half years ago, she learnt to walk in Benalmadena

Torremolinos station is underground as well mate. It is a fabulous train system TBH.

As in, you buy a ticket, get on the train, and get off at your station, without the train breaking down?



Have to say that the time we used it, they had stewardess's coming up the aisle with fresh Cava and soft drinks, warm face wipes, a selection of finger food, all for free.
