Costa del Sol Mijas Pueblo

ALL ROUND GOOD GUY

After we had taken the train from Arroyo to Fuengirola, which we bought return tickets at 7.20 euro's for us both fantastic value, we just had time to pop & have a coffee & cake adjacent to the Bus Terminal.

We caught the bus to Mijas Pueblo, just to the right of where Becky was sitting. It cost 1.55 euro's each, which we both thought was amazingly cheap. No wonder their trains & buses are always packed at those prices. About 20 minutes later we had arrived at MP, dropped off at the bus stop close to the horse & carriages.

Becky just about to enjoy the panoramic view heading towards Fuegirola & the sea.

This is what she looked at in a 180 degree sweep.

Becky decided to have a sit down in a rock chair, taking in the sights.

A beautiful church adjacent to where Becky was sitting.

Donkey carriages awaiting people to take round the town.

A well hewn out of the rock which was shut unfortunately, so we couldn't visit.

A few street shots of the quaint town, full of shops, bars & cafes.

Lovely colourful flower displays outside houses & up steps leading to their doors.

Don't you just love the white walled houses with terracotta tiles.

Apparently, Becky wants the house in the foreground with the pool, overlooking Fuengirola & the Med.

We then went for a wander around the Park.

Beautiful & colourful flower displays.

Even the ducks have a purpose built house.

Waterfalls & ravines enhance this Park.

We were wondering how much these villas were worth with their pools.

Not a bad place to eat, drink & take in the views from these restaurants.

Everywhere was so neat & well kept, a beautiful place.

As it was such a lovely day we decided to go to this bar/restaurant for a drink, we wished that we hadn't eaten earlier, as the food we saw looked fabulous. But what a place with a very intriguing name, as you will see.

We walked through the reception/bar area.

To a gap through the pristine white walls.

Into the Secret Garden, absolutely stunning, & very popular.

With that we walked back to the bus stop to wait for the bus back to Fuengirola. We would very strongly recommend a visit to Mijas Pueblo if you are ever in this area, well worth a visit.

You are right Daryn a very Spanish place no sign of Brit bars etc, I am not saying there is anything wrong with Brit bars BTW lol.
