BCM Square is no more, now just called 'The Square', it was a building site TBH and not busy at all.



Ex Baco's, changed to 'Baywatch', has been closed down, I heard the refurb was being done under illegal workers but don't know the truth in it:

Also a big screen in BCM Square but not sure if it was on or not. It was outside Bobbys.



No enforcement of having to wear proper clothing away from the beach lol



New car hire place on the corner of Katmandu/opposite TT Flavours bar. You could be fooled into thinking it was the entrance to Katmandu park.

Hotel Comodoro Playa (at the end of Blue Bar) has introduced a new sun deck with luxury 4 posters etc above the dining room:

On a day trip to Palma, came across this guy, it was the best still statue bloke I'd ever come across.

He was dressed as a watchmaker/repairer and went into action if you dropped a coin into his pot at the front.
Thought it was just a piece of junk when I first walked past

Great update photos Mark repped. Good news on the Fountain Bar I always liked that bar and thought it a shame when it closed its been there for as long as I remember.

So no joining up of the hotels with the fancy walk ways and shops still lol.

Glad you taken particular notice of the swimwear policy with photo evidence , isn't calcvia council full of pooooooooooooop.

And BCM square whats all that about, it used to be such a popular area

Nice to see bars reopening as well as being revamped, rep from me as well mate for the update.

Had a look around this year and there wasn't too many changes. Shocked to see the Fountain Bar closed down after that lovely revamp last year.
Also Tracy's old TT Flavours bar (where we had the first meet up in 2010), had been changed to The Pub, was closed.
Work is under way on the new Mall/Hotel where the old Sol Jamaica was. You can see the Sol y Vera apartments in the background.



Sol Wave house had removed the 'harder to surf' wave pool and put in a smaller 'have a quick dip' type pool, and updated the whole area with seats and Bali beds. Looked real nice and upmarket.

Thanks for the heads up Mark, repped. That Sol Jamaica area was becoming an eyesore TBH, at least the revamp is under way.

I can't believe the difference since I last went there ( not meet up ) !
