We stayed here in the first week that the hotel re-opened in 2015 (May).
Extensive work had been going on during the close, and the hotel has re-opened as a 4 star, although in the week that we stayed, the hotel renovations were not finished, and the hotel wasn't fully open.
The Tordos typically remains closed until around June, so no surprises there, but there still seemed to be a lot of work to finish off, the front entrance had huge stacks of boxes which I assume were the new room fridges and vanity units.
The pool deck area of the Tordos was also closed off.
Of the Mirlos, only the upper floors had been completed of the room makeover, work was still on going on the lower floors, although some of these floors did in fact re-open during our stay, so work is quite advanced.
The rooms have had a complete makeover, fresh paint in pastel colours, flat screen TV's on the walls, a fridge added, the wardrobe doors had also gone and a new open plan style shelving system installed.
It appeared as if the ground floor (actually the first floor, above the restaurant) was going to have like a private terrace, as there was astroturf added to the roof of the restaurant.
The bathrooms have had a makeover, the baths have been ripped out and replaced with a full length shower tray, with a rainburst shower head fitted along with a more traditional head... very good in operation too!
I managed to sneak in to the unfinished 'family rooms' and took a few pics, these are basically two rooms with one shared bathroom, the second room has a sofa bed, and the bathroom seemed to still have a bath as well as a new shower system. Both rooms have a flat screen TV on the wall.
I also got into an unfinished ground floor apartment and took a pic, hopefully to show the new terrace, but there was furniture in the way.
