has anyone heard there has been a new law passed to close all pubs at midnight in Magaluf as they are trying to change it to an all family resort.

We think it's just an announcement of an existing law Vickie, ie the bars have to shut the external doors by midnight to keep the external noise down, the bar itself will still be open.
There'd be an uproar over the council rates paid if they were to restrict opening hours.

Oh I see, we have been going to magalluf for years just like Daryn we were there in June last year and have to say we are very disalusioned with the whole place, piano bar and brittania have been our haunts but last year even in June it was never full, we always managed to get seats outside snd there was eight of us, we will give it another go next year but hope things do improve

As Marks says, I think its the rule to close the doors at 12.00 to keep the noise down.
