I never thought I would be saying this and after all of these years going to magaluf in September/October I feel it has totally lost its appeal now.

The place was completely dead this year and even the Piano Bar had no one in, me and Mick couldnt believe it. The prossies were still hanging around and we were even offered cocaine in the streets. Dont get me wrong it didnt bother us but its so seedy now its just not the same.

So I guess what Im saying is where would everyone like to meet next year if you can get away, Im willing to try somewhere else as Ive been visiting the Island for 28years and have never hardly ventured far from Magaluf and Palma Nova so staying somewhere else on the Island would be great but not Alcudia please been there tried it and hated it lol.  A bit of nightlife like the piano bar used to have would be awesome. TBH even a different part of Spain would be fun.

If the thinking is for the 2nd week of October then some quietening down *everywhere* is to be expected really.

I quite like the look of the Son Baulo area that Yozef goes to, I might be trying that area myself. Not been so can't recommend the suitability of it for a meet up.

As I mentioned in another thread, I haven't decided where to go next September/October.  

I'll probably book my flights (to wherever) some time in January so, if you've decided on somewhere before then, it could, possibly, affect my decision!!  

Now a big german resort was mentioned on facebook as still being very busy when I mentioned how rubbish Magaluf was, cant think which one it was, a big place though it will come back to me lol

Areanal was the first resort I went to in Mallorca back in 1982 (have I ever mentioned that?!).

Not been back since then, but I did hear it was a bit worn out but still buzzing.
