Some photos of our room on arrival. Apologies again, only had my phone to hand & we arrived about 11pm.

Only other things in the room were a fitted wardrobe with half a dozen shelfs & room for about a dozen clothes hangers, Safe in here too. Also a small dresser with a mirror above. Small CRT television, probably 15" screen, had BBC1 & ITV available.
View from our balcony on the 5th floor. Classed as a sea-view room which we didn't pay the extra for
Basically panning from left to right.
2nd kiddies pool on bottom left, Cala Egos (public) beach & cove in the middle & sister hotel Marina Skorpios on the right.
Pan right slightly for more of the beach
Beach & main pool on the right
Skorpios on the left, Beach & mini-golf in the middle, main pool on right
Beach & mini-golf on the left, main pool & main kiddies pool, pool bar & entertainment area in the middle & right
Much the same as previous photo but adjacent balconies included.
As for the review of the hotel we stayed there too long. 10 days would have been plenty in high-season but it is definitely a decent hotel. Since we were there for 18 days we started to pick faults we probably wouldn't have been bothered about if we'd been there for a shorter period.
Good points: Hotel staff were first class, no problems whatsoever all really hard-working & efficient especially the cleaning staff, the ladies in the restaurant & the bar staff. Entertainment team were outstanding certainly during the day. We joined in the archery, rifle shooting, table tennis, mini-golf & football at various times. Went to the parrot show, played Bingo once (€254 for the full house) & took part in the music quiz one night, all good fun. Food was pretty good for AI but 18 days was too much. Snorkelling in the cove (some days) was really good.
Negatives: Not enough sunbeds (not strictly true if beds not in use were freed up!!) Wi-Fi was €15 for a week, very hit & miss how decent the connection was I guess dependent on how many users. Food in the restaurant seemd to be aimed at British guests, I might be being rather fussy here but they made a big thing about their Yorkshire Puddings. I'd prefer it if they made a big deal about their Tapas, Paella or Albondigas. While we were there the 2nd pool was out of commission on 2 separate days & the main pool 1 day. No communication from the hotel as to the cause (we heard from other guests that faeces had been spotted in the water but can't personally vouch for it
). A couple of signs appeared on the beach for 4 days too saying 'From now this beach is not suitable to swim'. I know it's a public beach but reception staff said they had no idea what the problem was when it was kinda obvious a sewage pipe had burst. Didn't have the same enthusiasm for the pools or beach after these events
To be fair to the hotel though difficult for them to prevent.
I'd probably say we got good value for money from this hotel but I wouldn't recommend during the school holidays as it was pretty busy with kids.
