| Spent a few hours tonight looking for travel insurance tonight, was tempted to book with Top Dog from a comparison site, but I delved further into the company and they have many complaints then thought I wonder if Which magazine group list any and they do waheeeeeeeeeeeee.......... http://www.which.co.uk/money/insurance/reviews-ns/travel-insurance/
Here is what we are after, annual family trip cover, dont forget this covers you in the UK as well.......... http://www.which.co.uk/money/insurance/reviews-ns/travel-insurance/europe-annual-travel-insurance-policies/
Holidaysafe Premier Annual family cover £42 / Policy score 75% which top scoring for this type of policy and its cheaper than Top Dog and covers you for DIY as far as I can see. http://www.holidaysafe.co.uk/?vlsrc=gaw&gclid=CLjag-mut7ECFQRTfAodiTsAGQ
So there you go, take the guess work out of it and check Which

I used Moneysupermarket to get the best prices, 'Protect My Bubble' came top of the list, £42 for the year, me & Jan, only £50 excess, worldwide cover inc USA, Caribbean etc |

| We have travel insurance with our bank account Must say how important the E111 cards are, while we were away earlier this month Don & Dan had to see a Dr as they both had ear infections, Dan just had drops but Don had to have an injection in his bum , antibiotics & drops & total cost was 6 euro's. All they done was copied his card |

| San has us covered vis our Halifax Reward card for free, got to have some perks I suppose. But as you say Deb's, the E111 card is a very big everybody must have. God forbid I hope nobody needs it for anything major though. _________________ Mick

| Taking out adequate travel insurance should be the first thing on your list after booking a trip. Having super visa medical insurance cost in place in case things go wrong between the time you book your holiday and the actual departure date is also very important. Attempting to save money on an Annual Multi-trip Policy by making the policy 'start date' the same as your departure date is false economy. Although most trips will go ahead without any problems it's crazy to take risks which could cause unwelcome financial losses if something happens and you have to cancel... |
